Day 288: Worn Out

I skipped Zumba this morning.  I was so dang tired that I thought I might just die.  I slept until 1030, instead.

Ray left shortly after I got up, then Mom said she wanted to go to the mall.  I tried to put waves in my hair, but it didn't work.  Then I tried to straighten it, but it would not straighten.  Then I tried some dry shampoo and it looked awful, so I ended up showering.

I dried the roots, threw on some clothes, then we headed out.

My mom said she would buy me a new sundress, but there aren't many great ones around.  We tried the mall today.  First, we looked through Macy's, but they had nank.  Then we tried JCP, then Forever 21, and Dillards.

I grabbed a bunch of stuff at Forever 21, but I think that store is designed for women with no hips.  Or perhaps a waist as wide as one's hips.  Nothing looked right and I ended up feeling fat and gross.  We then went to Dillards and I got to experience the same fat and gross feeling again.  It was nice.

When I got home, my dad was in his chair watching golf and Eisley was in the rocker next to him playing with her toys...

She thought sitting in her own chair was the greatest thing ever.

Eis and I went outside to play for a bit when I got home and I took a pic of myself:

Then she napped and I played on the computer.  When she was waking up, I got a text from a girl I used to teach with at LTMS -- Leslie.  She suggested meeting up to walk with our strollers.  I was all up for it, so I packed up Eis and drove over to where we were going to meet.

Unfortunately, Eis was not up for it.  She cried and cried, so we tried switching strollers, so Eisley could face me.  She continued to cry.  Eventually, I gave in and carried her.  It was about and hour and a half or so that I carried her.  It was not super pleasant, though it was nice seeing Leslie.  I miss feeling like I have friends.

Walking and talking would be incredibly fun to do on a daily basis, but not alone.  It was only fun because I had someone to walk with and talk with, so my mind was occupied.
