I drove us a back way and parked fairly close. We had Eis in the stroller and I had my camera. My mom had never been, so she was enchanted by it all. We walked around, looked at everything, then shared some popcorn and each got a drink. After an hour or so, Eis was tired, so Mom sat with her in the shade, while I went and took more pics.
It was an absolutely perfect day for the kite festival. It was sunny -- not a cloud in the sky -- and windy! I don't know any other cities that would think to put that many people and their kites all together at once. It's so awesome.
