Day 201: 'Round the House

Eis slept a six hour stretch, though I got up twice during because she started to rouse.  We'll just have to keep up the routine at all costs.

I didn't do much today.  I showered and dried my hair a little because it was cold and I don't want to get sick.  I skimmed some of the leaves out of the pool and emptied the baskets and polaris.  I cooked some potatoes and carrots, but I didn't have any meat, so it wasn't that great.

I did get to talk to Ty for a while and see him, which was nice.  It's always nice to see his face.  He got to see Eisley for a while, too.  I ended up having to put her in the swing to nap because she just wouldn't stop screaming in the crib.

I watched a couple Netflix movies.  I finished Buried, and I finished Meet the Rileys, which I had started a long time ago -- it's a weird movie... Kristin Stewart looks gross in it.  I started Last Night, but haven't gotten too far into it.  I brought the jumperoo into the nursery, so I could knock off a few of my shows on my recorded list, so it wouldn't get full while I'm gone.

Eis ate bananas after each nursing.  She seems to like them alright.  We will finish the bananas tomorrow and start apples.  Hopefully, I have enough, though I can always go buy another pack of whatever or just blend up an apple or banana in Martha's Ninja blender.

I looked at wigs, today.  My parents vaguely scoffed at the idea, but I think they aren't fully sure how to react.  My dad keeps reassuring me that it'll grow back.  I know it will, but that doesn't mean it's done falling out and that's still another six months away.  My mom told me to call Dr. L, but I told her he's a thyroid surgeon who works in the cancer centre.  He's going to tell me, "Yep, that can be expected.  It'll grow back in about six months when your hormone levels begin to level out."  And may I say that hair starting to grow in six months from my scalp will take months to years to become long.  It's not like in six months, my hair will magically be restored to it's previous glory.

I know long hair would be difficult with a baby who is starting to grab at things, but I could pull it back, which would be nice.  Plus, all the short ones are too short and it would be more difficult to hide my hair.  The medium length wigs are just few and far between.  Here are the two I like the best and I know if I were to get one, it would be the brown one, since red is probably too flashy for my parents to see :/
