Eis slept for stretches almost four hours long in the crib, last night. We're getting there. Unfortunately, I'm breaking the cycle tonight and letting her sleep in the swing -- not swinging -- because I feel horrid and I have to drive to Heights and back all by my lonesome, tomorrow.
I have an appointment to meet with a rental agency tomorrow at 1000. So, I'll head out at about 0800.
We took Eis to the doctor today for her check-up and vaccines, today. She did good. She screamed during the shots and I filmed it. It was sad after, when she was so upset! She had the most pitiful cry, but I was holding her, so there was no filming of that.
After we left, we went to the mall. My dad wanted to ask a place if they serviced Rolex watches. He also wanted to get something for Mom. We ended up getting her a sweet necklace. While he was paying for it, I went up to some kid who was dressed exactly like my brother-in-law, Easton, and I asked him what he'd like for Christmas. Don't worry, I prefaced it with speaking to his father and telling him about East being of a similar age and style. However, the kid was so not like East. He was into military weapons and heavy metal and hard rock bands, though he did like the same video games as East.
I pretended it was really helpful and didn't mention how East wouldn't be interested in anything he mentioned.
Dad and I went into VS and I found the chonis that I thought they didn't make anymore. I took a pic and emailed it to Martha. Then we went to Sears and JCPenny and checked to see if they had any pants that my dad likes -- turns out they're discontinued. We went into Nordstrom and Dad bought me some house shoes that are awesome and we looked at Uggs. Perhaps I can get him to go shopping with me another day and purchase some Uggs. I finally found some I really like and think would be perfect.
I looked at them online and found a leathery "bomber" version that is amazing, but it has poor reviews about the colour flaking off, so I think I'll go with the "normal" version. Though I don't know if I like the sand or camel colour.
Anyway, we eventually left and I nursed Eis when we got home -- it'd been a bit over four hours. Then she napped for a bit.
She's been fussy all evening, which is another reason she's in the swing tonight. I have been feeling like crap, too. My head and neck ache, and my sinuses are full to the brim. I keep sneezing and have been quite cold, though I have no fever.
I will have to wait a bit longer to return to Zumba, unfortunately.
