Day 216: Home

First off, welcome to Latvia and the United Kingdom!  I know it's not the most exciting of blogs, but that's ok.  Better off a bit boring, so Tyler has nothing to worry about while he's away.

Last night when I posted, Eisley was sleeping.  I'd bathed her and put her down by 2030, since she had skipped her evening nap.  She was sleeping great... for an hour.  She woke up and I did the usual to try to get her back to sleep, but it was no use.  My dad came in and changed her diaper and I gave her some gas drops and it wasn't until 2330 that she fell back to sleep.  I had her and my dad had her and we took turns trying to get her to either burp, toot, or just fall asleep.

I guess my dad eventually got all her gas out because when I got her, she was just doing her tired cry, as opposed to her painful gas cry.  Once she fell asleep, she slept for six hours and fifteen minutes!  I was so disoriented when I awoke to her crying, that I didn't realise it had been that long.  All I knew was that my boobs felt like they were about to explode.  I had to throw away the leak pads I had in my bra and put in new ones once I got Eis back to sleep.

The strange thing was that she didn't have a dirty diaper, she was just hungry, since it'd been seven and a half hours since she'd eaten.  Thus, she ate, then went back to sleep.  And then woke up an hour and a half later!  Ugh.  I assumed she had a wet diaper, but was to out of it to check until I had her on the changing table, where I noticed she was still dry.  I put her back down and she woke up an hour and forty-five minutes later.

It was at that time that I realised I was up for the day.  It was 0900, so it wasn't too bad.  I took my pill and eventually had a bowl of cereal.

Eisley napped about four times today, but each nap was 30 to 40 minutes, so she didn't last long between naps, which is why she took so many.  I watched the start of another French film, then changed to some Halloween Shrek thing, then watched a documentary on Russian ballerinas, which was pretty interesting.

At one point, I was lucky enough to get to shower even though Eisley wasn't sleeping.  She had just woken up when I was about to take a shower, so I turned on her mobile and she laid in the crib and chatted to it while I showered.  Sadly, showering was the only thing I actually accomplished today.  I suppose that is better than not showering, but it's still not great.

Tomorrow, I have big plans: Zumba, rehab, and to take my rubies to Dan to have him check them out.  I want to make sure Ty's girl is being truthful and not leading him astray when purchasing gems.

Eis did pretty good during tummy time, today.  She didn't roll over on her own, in fact, she doesn't really try to move much.  She prefers to just cry when she no longer enjoys being on her belly.  My dad was in here trying to help and rolling her back and forth and keeping her entertained.  Puck was a bit frantic with all the movement and crying... I am not sure what his intentions are, but I have to keep him back just because he could accidentally step on her or scratch her with his nails.  I know he wouldn't mean harm, which is why I feel bad keeping him back.

Today's picture of the day is tonight's tummy time.  Eisley at an unhappy moment, my dad with her, and Puck, desperate to get close.
