Day 27: Whirlwind

The beginning of the day went well enough. Daniel didn't wake up til noon, so I didn't have to talk to him too much.  By that time my parents had just come home from working out and I was nearing the end of my second poster.  I'll have to add pics on the next post or later tonight because I don't have time right now.

We all chatted and Daniel had my mom make him EIGHT cups of coffee in the coffee maker -- he was positive he'd drink it all.  (He didn't.  He only drank one cup and wasted the rest).  Then he borrowed my dad's clippers to shave his face and head.  My dad said he was going to leave to pick up Jamie at the airport, but Daniel wanted to go, too, but he wasn't ready.  He had fifteen minutes to get ready because my dad likes to be on time.

About 10 minutes after they were supposed to leave, Daniel asks, "Do we have to go or do we have a few minutes? Can I borrow some toothpaste?"  My dad only heard, "Do we have to go? Can I borrow some toothpaste?"  He said, "Yes!" and went to find him toothpaste, then grumbled about how late they were.  I pointed out that he sent the wrong message by saying "yes" and then by getting him toothpaste.  His hearing is going downhill and it's irritating.

They left about 15 minutes late and Dad was upset that Jamie had to wait.  I finished up my second poster while mom cleaned the house some more.  They got back at 1400 and dad took Jamie to a dentist appt at 1430 because she has had a toothache.  Daniel wanted to go, but he stayed here.  I was in my room putting on my swimsuit because I didn't want to be inside.  Daniel took the Matrix and left to go run errands of whatever kind.

I decided I needed to shave Puck because I couldn't wait for my dad to help or it'd be a while.  My mom insisted I sit on a stepstool in the tub so my body would hurt less.  Too bad she didn't put a towel on it to make my bum hurt less.  Nothing like plastic grooves to dig into your upper thighs for half an hour!  Anyway, we got Puck shaved and took him outside so I could spray him off with the hose and so he could go roll immediately in dirt once wet.  I sprayed him off again, then dried him and sent him inside.

We spent an hour or so in the pool, then I got out to shower because I have a doctor's appointment today.   My dad got on the computer to keep researching cameras for me and I thought he was going to talk to me, but he didn't, so I got bored and uncomfortable sitting there waiting.

I cooked a bit for dinner.

We ate.  Jamie was talking non-stop and it was very stressful.  She also likes to make sudden loud noises in a rather high pitch... like squeals.  I think she sees people on movies make those noises at "correct" times and the people they're with find them endearing.  She doesn't make them at the "correct" time and hers are 100x louder, so it's annoying.

By the end of dinner, we were more than happy to have them go somewhere.  I went into my room to read because I couldn't handle any more noise at that point.  I also found that just her being around and talking, stressed me out so much that I cried.  Not a sad cry, but a stressed cry.  I'm not sure Ty knows what that's like -- I think it's a girl thing.

I passed out while reading, then got up an hour later to get ready for bed and got to talk to Ty!  Yay!! It was great until OUR internet pooped out and I didn't get to say goodbye.  :(
